“If you strangle a smurf what color does it turn?”
When I was younger my very intelligent science teacher told our class that homo-sapiens blood is blue. WRONG!!!! Our blood is and will ALWAYS be red. In our veins its dark red because its deoxygenated. In our arteries its bright red because its oxygenated. Blood vessels appear blue through our skin because the way our skin filters out the red color when it is said to be deoxygenated.
So in answer to our question above – since smurfs are already oxygen deprived as to make them blue, reducing their oxygen further would make them turn a deeper blue or violet. Reducing their oxygen further should also make them very dead. However, since we are strangling the poor creature from the onset, then I guess we would be achieving an unattended goal.
